Agreed, to both. In the wake of the Bill Henson art scandal I have had a re-think about issues of art and nudity, sexuality and pornography.
As the Bog Logger says probably the clothes that Miley wears are more sexualising than the Vanity Fair shots. This is not so much about the photos per se but about the damage the photo shoot is doing to her squeaky clean image. And her image is more important to Disney than her feelings.
As for Corey he is a product of his media exposure, not his party. Its his stint on ACA or TT that made the public loathe/love him more than the party itself. My little bro tells me (reliable source!) that the police in Melbourne closed down two other parties that night which is why all those people ended up at Corey's house. So doesn't that make them partially responsible for the events in Corey's street?

When you think about it, all he did wrong was have a party that got out of control. I know I've done worse in my time. In his situation, he became public enemy and you can't blame him for wanting to access some of the perks too.. like a recording deal etc.
I saw the Miley photos and while they were sexual in a sense, what 15 year old girl isn't at this time? Do we have to deny them that feeling and instead swap it for virginal morality?

I think it's a mistake to assume that because Cyrus is naked in the photos that she has been sexualised. Certainly, the pictures I saw didn't give that impression. Annie Liebovitz is a brilliant portraitist, and her decision to photograph Cyrus partially-naked was to show that actually she's a vulnerable young girl. I think the photos of her all leggy in a mini-dress should be drawing more criticism!
Leibovitz did offer an apology of sorts, saying that she was sorry that her photo had been misinterpreted. I think what Cyrus and her minders were really apologising for, was for not doing their homework! To keep the Cyrus brand squeaky clean they should have got the photographer for Coca Cola, not the photographer who photographed Demi Moore naked, Whoopi Goldberg naked, Brooke Shields naked...
